Luke found his passion for sports when he was taking sports both at GCSE and A-level and later furthering his studies with his undergraduate degree in Sports Science. Finally, Luke went on to complete a Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology.

With over 7 years of personal training experience, Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and passion. Prior to leading Slade Fitness, Richard honed his craft working with professional footballers and within the healthcare sector, gaining invaluable insights into elite performance and well-being.

Sian Rickard is a highly experienced Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and General Manager at Slade Fitness. Combining extensive coaching expertise with a deep understanding of behaviour change, she helps clients achieve sustainable improvements in their health, fitness, and wellbeing. Sian specialises in creating practical, evidence-based strategies that deliver real-world results, whether clients are looking to build strength, improve body composition, navigate midlife and hormonal changes, or simply feel healthier and more confident. Alongside her coaching work, Sian plays a key role in developing the Slade Fitness community, ensuring members receive exceptional support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their fitness journey.

Having worked in local gyms in the area over the last 8 years, Ollie specialises primarily in clients looking to improve their body composition & strength, but also has experience with athletic development clients, particularly for golf & football.
NATALIE MCKENZIE
PERSONAL TRAINER
Natalie loves helping people get back into exercise and watching them progress and achieve their goals and get stronger! Natalie likes to use a wide variety of strength training methods; her sessions are never boring! Some of her favourite exercises are those using kettlebells. She also loves cardio, and her favourite hobby is trail running with her dog.
ANDREW LUORO
PERSONAL TRAINER | NUTRITION COACH
Andrew first started training people when he was 18 years old and has a background in boxing, Ultrafit competitions and powerlifting. As well as a personal trainer and exercise referral specialist, Andrew is a registered Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach and has also trained to work with Emotional Eating. Andrew admits that he is a bit of a nerd at heart and is studying a biomedical science BSc and loves the evidence-based approach to exercise and nutrition.
ERIC SIMS
Musculoskeletal Therapist | PERSONAL TRAINER
Eric graduated from St Mary’s University with a BSc in Sport Rehabilitation. His other qualifications include sport massage, hydrotherapy, electrical therapy, injury strapping, first aid and designing exercise prescription programmes. His aim is to ensure a full recovery, returning them to full strength physically and mentally. To achieve this, he sets realistic goals in consultation with his clients.

INJURY PREVENTION & RECOVERY SPECIALIST
From studying Sports Rehabilitation at University, Craig has learnt key knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and help rehabilitate Individuals from their injuries. As well as working at Slade fitness, Craig has vast amount of experience working within football, with Millwall Football Club academy and Whitstable Town football club. With these roles Craig aids in player welfare and providing rehabilitation and training programmes for players.

Emma is a dedicated Musculoskeletal Therapist and Graduate Sports Rehabilitator with a passion for restoring movement and promoting wellness. Throughout Emma’s career, she has demonstrated a commitment to providing personalised care and tailored treatment plans with a deep understanding of biomechanics, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques. Whether it’s assisting athletes in recovering from sports-related injuries or aiding individuals in regaining mobility after accidents and surgical procedures, Emma approaches each case with empathy, professionalism, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

ETHAN HADDOCK
INJURY PREVENTION & RECOVERY SPECIALIST | PERFORMANCE
Ethan graduated with a First-Class BSc Honours degree in Sport Rehabilitation in 2025. During his degree he gained a strong knowledge in human biomechanics, injury epidemiology and aetiology, and musculoskeletal injury assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. He takes a holistic approach to injury rehabilitation, looking beyond the site of pain or injury to understand the bigger picture into the “why?” of your injury.

Emily lives, breathes and sleeps all things health & fitness. Her mission is to help guide and inspire people to lead a stronger, happier, and more positive lifestyle. After having her third child she turned her passion into a career, first qualifying as a fitness instructor & level 3 personal trainer (7 years ago) then gaining qualifications in Spin, Kettlebells, Pad work & Nutritional coaching.

With a background in performance training and nutrition science, he blends evidence-based methods with a supportive, no-nonsense coaching style.

Michael has been boxing for 14 years, including at an elite international level as an amateur for many years with over 100 fights before turning professional at 19. As a professional boxer he’s currently had 14 fights with 12 wins and boxed on Sky Sports & Channel 5 on huge shows, as well as in Saudi Arabia. He is currently on a break and is pursuing his passion for teaching the sweet science so that people can get fit, build confidence and learn to defend themselves.

DAWN NUNES
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Dawn Nunes is a South African Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience in manual therapy and rehabilitation. She uses a variety of techniques including acupuncture, dry needling, manual mobilisation and rehab specific strength and conditioning. She holds a masters in Sports Physiotherapy and is a member of the MACP and therefore recognised as an advanced practitioner. She is an endurance runner and has played hockey to a high level but enjoys treating all kinds of musculoskeletal injuries including pre- and post- operative care.
